Blog Writing Services

For businesses that cannot afford thin, generic content

I write clear, commercially useful blog posts for specialist B2B firms, agencies and in-house teams that need expert subjects explained properly. That might mean writing to a detailed SEO brief, turning expert notes into a polished article, or helping you work out what the article should say before a draft exists.

The aim is not to publish for the sake of publishing. It is to create articles that help the right people find you, understand you and trust you.

Senior writing support for complex B2B sectors

Some subjects need more than fluent writing.

If you sell a complex service, work in a regulated market, or need to explain something technical without making it simplistic, your blog content has to work harder. It needs to be accurate enough for experts, clear enough for prospects and useful enough to earn its place on your website.

That is where my blog writing services can help.

I work with specialist businesses and marketing teams that need senior writing support. My work has helped an accountancy firm and an insurance firm win visibility for high-value searches in search engines and LLMs, without turning their content into keyword-stuffed filler.

Blog posts that do the right job

A blog post is worth writing when it has a job to do.

It may answer a prospect’s question or support a service page. It may explain a legal change, clarify a technical issue or guide a buying decision. Sometimes, it simply gives your sales team something useful to send to clients.

But not every topic deserves an article.

Before writing, I look at what the piece needs to achieve. Who is it for? What should the reader understand by the end? Where does it sit on the website? Does it support a commercial goal, or is it simply another post in the calendar?

If the article is not worth writing, I won’t write it – and I’ll tell you why.

Write to a brief, or work from scratch

I can work in whichever way suits the project.

If you are an agency, SEO consultant or in-house marketer, you may already have the brief, keyword plan, search intent, internal links and client notes. In that case, I can take the material and turn it into a finished article that reads naturally and reflects the client’s expertise.

If you are a direct client, you may only know that something needs explaining. I can help shape the angle, structure and purpose before writing the article.

I can work from interviews, rough notes, old pages, technical documents, expert drafts, keyword research or a simple conversation.

SEO blog writing without SEO sludge

I understand SEO blog writing, but I do not write for algorithms at the expense of readers.

A good article has a clear search purpose. It uses the right language, answers the question properly and supports the wider website through sensible internal links and a clear next step.

But the finished piece still has to sound like something a serious business would be happy to publish.

That means no padded introductions, no limp summaries, no obvious keyword stuffing and no generic “in today’s fast-paced world” filler. Search matters. So does judgement.

Senior writing, not anonymous content production

You are not buying anonymous blog content from a pool of writers.

I am a published author and experienced commercial writer. My work has appeared in national titles including The Guardian and The Times. I bring that editorial standard to commercial blog and article writing.

That does not mean making business content literary or over-polished. It means knowing how to structure an argument, explain difficult material, cut weak sentences and keep the reader moving.

For specialist B2B firms, that matters. Your articles need to sound informed, careful and useful. They also need to sound like they belong to your business.

AI, used carefully if used at all

Some clients want fully human-written articles. Others are comfortable with AI being used at the research, outlining or drafting stage.

I can work either way.

The important point is that AI is never allowed to make the editorial decisions. If it is used, it is challenged sentence by sentence for accuracy, tone, structure, usefulness and commercial judgement.

AI is exceptional at producing words quickly. It is terrible at knowing whether those words are true, safe, or worth a busy professional’s time. That legal, technical, and commercial judgement cannot be automated.

That judgement still has to come from an experienced writer.

Blog and article writing for serious subjects

My blog writing services are a good fit when the subject needs care.

That includes professional services, accountancy, insurance, construction, property, technical services, B2B consultancy and other expert-led sectors where vague content will not do.

I also work with agencies and in-house teams that need a reliable senior writer for client articles, SEO content, expert explainers and practical guides.

The common thread is simple: the article needs to be useful, accurate and commercially relevant.

Practical questions

A few things people ask

A place for the questions that often come up before a first conversation.

Do you offer SEO blog writing services?

Yes. I can write from keyword research, SEO briefs, content plans and search intent.

I also look beyond the single article. A good blog post should have a reason to exist. It should support the right service pages, answer a useful question, create sensible internal links and fit into the wider structure of the site.

Can you write from an agency brief?

Yes. I regularly work from agency briefs, outlines, keyword plans, client notes and source material.

I can also push back where a brief is unclear, overstuffed or likely to produce a weak article. It is much better to fix the thinking before the writing starts.

Can you help if we do not have a brief yet?

Yes. Sometimes the useful work starts before there is a brief.

I can help shape the topic, angle and structure before writing. That might mean a short conversation, reviewing existing material, checking the likely search purpose, or deciding whether the article is worth producing at all.

Do you write for technical or specialist sectors?

Yes. I am comfortable with complex, professional and technical subjects.

My job is to make expert material clearer without making it crude, thin or misleading. The writing still needs to sound informed. It just should not make the reader work harder than necessary.

Do you use AI to write blog posts?

Only where it is appropriate and agreed.

Some clients want fully human-written articles. Others are happy for AI to support parts of the process, such as research organisation, structure or first-pass idea testing. Either way, the finished copy needs human judgement. AI output is never treated as finished work.

Do you offer one-off articles or ongoing blog writing?

Both. I can write a single important article, support a short campaign, or provide ongoing blog writing services where there is a clear reason to publish.

The important thing is that the work has a purpose. I am much more interested in useful articles that support the business than in publishing for the sake of filling a calendar.
